Scotland's Secret Bunker is an ongoing project that exists as a video archive and viewing space. Housed in a small loft area, the archive offers new works by a diverse group of national and international artists who incorporate 'sampling' techniques into their practice.
In The Hereafter by featured artist Maria Antelman, imagined parallel worlds play out within a poetic 'Markeresque' framework. Text and aeriel images take us on a flight of fancy while fleeting thoughts reflect on the journey. The subtle pacing of the piece builds into an internal rhythm giving space to some unexpected questions.
It's happening! In homage to Allan Kaprow, TART offers up the show's opening as a 'happening' where the audience becomes the participant. It's happening will be recorded then looped and projected every Thursday evening from 6-8pm.
